Thrift Store Associates
The Thrift Store Associate follows the Store Manager’s lead in maintaining an organized, welcoming environment for customers. Responsibilities include:
- Stocking and organizing shelves
- Answering customer questions
- Pricing merchandise as directed by the store manager
- Creating displays of merchandise as directed by the store manager
- Cleaning and maintaining the store area
Furniture Sales Associates
The Furniture Sales Associate is a key role in our thrift store. Under the supervision of the store manager, this associate maintains the furniture area and helps customers choose and purchase items. Responsibilities include:
- Moving and lifting furniture and appliances safely, using dollies, blankets, and straps as needed.
- Maintaining a welcoming, organized furniture area.
- Pricing furniture items.
- Assisting customers with questions and purchases.
Donation Warehouse Associates
Warehouse Associates accept patrons’ donations and process them for selling in our thrift stores. Responsibilities include:
- Helping patrons unload donated items
- Sorting donations into the appropriate bins, racks, shelves, and storage areas
- Lifting and carrying heavy items
- Ability to operate machinery, including a baler and forklift, preferred
