A Requested Update:
Some of our readers and supporters have been asking for updates about our campus housing project.
As many of you know, last year we stepped out on faith to do the much-needed job of replacing our on-campus housing here at the Lighthouse. This housing is where our dorm staff live while they work with the children in our care. The mobile homes that we replaced had been with us over 36 years, and while they had been repaired many times over the years, they had simply reached the end of their lifespan.
We were able to get them replaced at a cost of about $246,000, and last year we raised about $175,000 towards this special need– but we still need to close the gap.
We still need to raise $71,000 to fully meet this need.
We are praying for God to meet this need by June 1st.
