What Is the Adopt-A-Teen Program?
The Lighthouse Children’s Home Adopt-A-Teen program was designed to be a sponsorship program to come alongside and help cover the cost of care for our young ladies.
To help give perspective, it costs the Lighthouse approximately $3,500 per month for each young lady in our program. This includes essential expenses such as their education, food, school uniforms, personal care products, other basic living expenses, as well as 24-hour staffing care.
If you decide to become an Adopt-A-Teen sponsor on a monthly or yearly basis, your sponsorship will directly go to help offset the financial cost of a young ladies stay at the Lighthouse. Your support plays a crucial role in ensuring our young ladies receive the care and resources necessary for them to flourish.
Once you become an Adopt-A-Teen you will receive monthly letters from the young lady you sponsor. You will also have the opportunity to correspond with her via mail, receiving mail is a great encouragement to each young lady and can help to make a positive impact in their life.
How Can I Sign Up?
